Residential Care

Moving In at Donisthorpe

Independent living with care and support when needed

We place the greatest value on the dignity and happiness of our residents: Donisthorpe Hall is their home, not ours, and we aim to give our residents the greatest say possible in how their daily lives at Donisthorpe should be.

Independence is treasured particularly as we get older but, some of the things we used to take for granted can be difficult to do for ourselves as we progress in years. Our friendly professional staff are on hand 24 hours a day to help and provide care and support when needed.

We want residents to make their room their own space and personal items such as photographs, pictures, keepsakes and small items of furniture are welcome. Rooms are cleaned daily

There 20 different activity sessions a week to attend if you wish to keep busy, ranging from “All things Italian” to “Floral art instruction” and of course bingo and concerts feature regularly.

Alternatively there is always someone to chat to in the reception area with complimentary tea & coffee on hand from our Coffee Shop

The home has Wifi throughout and there is access to computers dedicated for resident use.

Adjoining rooms may be available for couples enabling 1 room to be used as a bedroom and the other as a sitting room.
