Did you go to Makor’s Big Jewish Nosh Fest on Sunday — it was incredible with a footfall of close on 1,000.
One of the highlights (for me) was seeing our Israeli emissary chef Or Nehushtan making (very skilfully, I must say, and without a swear word to be heard) a Shakshouka — a delicious Israeli dish. In a sauce of tomatoes, chili peppers and onions, he expertly dropped in a batch full of raw eggs and spiced it all up with cumin and paprika. Delish! Do you think Doni residents would like this added to their menu, once you persuade them that Shakshouka is a tasty dish and not an Indian dance!
