Donisthorpe Hall has announced the appointment of their new Chief Executive Officer, Andrew Thornton. Andrew, age 50, has worked in private and public healthcare organisations over a period of 28 years.
Andrew Brown, Chairman of Donisthorpe Hall said “ We are delighted with the appointment of Andrew. He will bring a wealth of experience to the home”.
Donisthorpe Hall has run without a Chief Executive Officer for the last six months since the retirement of Carol Whitehead. “The Board of Trustees would like to record their thanks to the Senior Management Team for running the home during the period since the retirement of Carol” said Jonathan Grant Vice Chairman.
The New Chief Executive who will take up his position on 7th April 2014 has said “I am honoured and delighted to have been given this position, and am looking forward to working for an organisation with such a high reputation. I will do everything in my power to lead the home to even greater heights”.
