We need your support

Donisthorpe Hall has charitable status, we do not pay Directors’ salaries or issue dividends. The savings we make are all used towards continuing improvements to the environment and care of our residents. But these savings alone aren’t sufficient to ensure the continued smooth running of Donisthorpe Hall.

We have developed close ties with business and local community and the contributions we receive from them are vital. If you would like to offer your support there are a variety of ways you can help.

Making a donation

The simplest way to help is to make a donation. As they say size doesn’t matter. Any contribution will make a difference.

Become a volunteer

Financial help isn’t the only way to provide support. Our team of volunteers are vital to our success and help in a variety of ways from entertainment to education and therapy such as the reminiscence sessions in our Dementia wing.

Leave a gift in your will

One of the most traditional ways of giving to charity is to leave a bequest in your will. Charitable bequests are paid before tax is deducted reducing the total amount of inheritance tax due from a person’s estate.
Contact your solicitor or lawyer for information on how you can make a bequest through your will.

Fundraising events

Barbecues, Fun Runs, Charity Auctions these are all ways that people have raised funds for us. So if you have a bright fundraising idea please get in touch.

Sponsorship

This a great way for individuals and companies to get involved. Sponsorship has helped us create and maintain the gardens, buy new equipment and even build the new Dementia wing.
