Our 24 suite Dementia Care unit has been purpose built to provide a soothing and calming environment through the use of colour, lighting, open spaces, clear signage and natural light which is designed to stimulate memories and interaction.
We encourage social inclusion, through our coffee bar and common areas, where residents can meet family and friends, and also through social activities both inside Donisthorpe and on outside excursions.
We also have a dining room and quiet areas for watching TV or relaxing. And of course our beautiful landscaped gardens are available to be enjoyed. We focus on the person, providing the support and care each individual requires to lead as fulfilling a life as possible.
